Why CCD a Camera?
CCD and CMOS imagers were both invented in the late 1960s
and 1970s (DALSA founder and CEO Dr. Savvas Chamberlain was
a pioneer in developing both technologies). CCD became the
preferred and dominant technology, primarily because it gave
far superior imaging results.
Most of the cameras that are sold on eBay are CMOS cameras.
CCD Cameras are usually twice
the price and the pictures are up to 10 times
clearer, brighter and colorful.
This type of camera does not like direct sunlight into
the camera, so please position it where it is somewhat protected
from direct sunlight.

Why 30 LEDs on
each Camera?
It has 30
Infrared LED's (Light Emitting Diodes).
With this camera you can see
in total darkness very well up to a distance of 40 feet. If
there is any ambient light such as window light, moon light,
street lighting, yard lighting or porch lighting that
distance will be even greater
The 30 IR LEDs emit an infrared signal that boosts the
camera's capability to pick up a picture in low light
conditions.
This camera will automatically switch from color to black
and white when the light drops.
A black and white picture will be clearer and show more
detail when there are low light conditions.
