If you are planning to power an Infrared
Camera, try using a 1000 milliamp power adapter. It will assure you of the
best performance!
The usual, run of the mill 500 milliamp power adapters are just not good
enough. This is especially true if you are using power/video cables.
Sending 12 volts down 50 to 150 feet to drive a CCD Infrared Camera will
result in a substantial and serious loss of power...this is called
attenuation.
Paying a couple of dollars more to get the
"proper" amount of power for your camera will result in far better images
at night, deeper colors during the day, and a sharper, crisper more stable
picture.
This is an AC-DC Adaptor that has an output of
