Setting up
Recording and Motion Detection
Please read this manual and let me know if
that helps the recording issue for you

Security Eyes® Pro Motion Detection
-
After I got off the phone with you
I tried to schedule short
-
recording periods as well as
changing the location on the hard drive where the files were
stored.
While I was able to set the location of the file, there was
nothing in the files themselves. I've looked in other files as
well, but can't find them. I have a feeling it didn't record at
all. If you can ask your technician to provide guidance with that
as well.
First, Set up the schedule in the Scheduler.
Then
Set up the "Start Set" under the System Settings (Main tab) – Select
the following
-
Schedule Server
-
Start Monitor
-
TCP/IP Server
-
WebCam Server
Then,
the "Start Monitor" needs to be checked for recording to take place.
(With the settings in the "Start Set" above, you will only need to
exit the software and re-enter it for the monitor to be active.
Then it will record the
files to the folder specified in the System Settings.

That is a very common problem, as the manual on
Security Eyes can be a bit difficult to sort through.
Have a look at this easy manual to get the Scheduler
set up and operating properly in Security Eyes Pro.
Some of the screenshots are a bit old, but the scheduler setup
is still the same.

After completing the scheduler setup, make sure to
enable "Schedule Server" and "Start Monitor"
in the "Start Set" area of the Main System Settings
Page.
Hopefully this will help you get your Security Eyes
System going!
