BIOS Upgrade for 2206 DVR
We are not
responsible for firmware update failure. Please note.
How to change firmware for
DVR GS2206V .
We suggest you print out this page, then watch the videos making notes, review
the procedure below,
and only do this when you have a proper workspace, when you are able to think
clearly
and know you will not be interrupted.

Firmware for GS2206V download:
63A:

77A:

Please check the mainboard before downloading, there's a sticker on the
mainboard indicates it's 63A or 77A.
Important:
Please unzip the file and you will get a folder called "dvrupgrade".
How to upgrade:
1) Copy the folder "dvrupgrade" to USB flash.
2) Plug USB flash to DVR.
3) Enter into "MENU / SYSTEM / MAINTAIN / SYSTEM UPDATE" to upgrade firmware.
4) Firmware upgrading takes 2 ~ 3 minutes.
And the DVR will reboot while upgrading.
DO NOT REMOVE THE USB FLASH WHEN DVR IS REBOOTING.
5) Reset the DVR to factory default from DVR's:
MENU / SYSTEM / MAINTAIN / LOAD DEFAULT
6) Format the hard drive.
